The construction zone that overwhelms the pier to the north of Bisous’ slip here at Big Oak Marina is a huge sore spot for me. This isn’t what a boating marina, or even a float-home community marina, should be engaged in. Enough said.
I have just today finished applying the second coat of fairing on the main saloon headliner. I’m encouraged. Almost all of the highs and lows are leveled off.
I’ll let all of this cure for a few days and then do some final sanding before applying a clear coat of epoxy. It’s a huge step forward from what it had been when I’d started with this approach to finishing off the headliner in January 2016 .
